“Zonta Says NO to Violence Against Women” is a Zonta International campaign to raise awareness of and increase actions to end violence against women and girls around the world.

Join the Zonta Says NO to Violence Against Women campaign

It is time to embrace the Zonta Says NO to Violence Against Women campaign. This year, during the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, Zonta International will add trafficking as one part of the campaign. Human trafficking or trafficking in persons as it is commonly referred to at the United Nations. Human trafficking affects almost every country in the world, either as a country of origin, transit or destination for victims, the vast majority of whom are women and girls.

For the 16 Days of Activism, which runs from 25 November-10 December, Zonta clubs are encouraged to take action to address violence against women and domestic violence or to align their actions with Zonta International to plan activities to focus specifically on human trafficking. The Zonta Says NO to Violence Against Women website has updated materials, including resources to assist clubs in using the Council of Europe Istanbul Convention and Anti-Trafficking Convention to support their advocacy efforts.
